Former Stone River Ranch developer charged with theft
Scott Grose, the former developer of the Fairplay-based Stone River Ranch subdivision, was charged on Aug. 24 with seven counts of theft for allegedly taking money that was meant for the Stone River Ranch project and using it for personal gain and to pay for expenses related to his other businesses.

Park County Fishing Report
Michael "Grizz" Egloff, the head guide of Hartsel-based South Platte Anglers, said that fishing has been fairly slow this week due to the weather. Seasonal reports say that after the slow fishing of summer, autumns in Colorado make for prime and scenic fishing.
