To the Editor,
On behalf of the Platte Canyon Area Chamber of Commerce, I'd like to thank Dr. Walpole and the Platte Canyon school board for allowing us to play the Fourth Annual BAILEY-INvitational Disc Golf Tournament on the exquisite Rosalie Road property! With the combined genius of Rudy Gorke, Mike Livingston, Kurt Blackwell and Dave Ponto, the site quickly became a championship course! (They've had a lot of practice! They developed the course at Beaver Ranch.)
Thirty-four participants joined us - our best attendance yet! What made that even sweeter was the four families that played! (I'd never realized how much of a FAMILY game this was!)
It was wonderful to see families PLAY together!
Again, our thanks to Dr. W and the board for letting us play in that yard!
It is a spectacular site with tremendous potential! We hope to see discs flying there again soon!
