Thanks on wild game silent auction items
To the Editor,

The Wild Game Dinner hosted by Shepherd of the Rockies Lutheran Church on Nov. 7, 2009, was an elegant night of wild game sampling, complete with entertainment, guest speaker and silent auction. Attendees raved at the variety of game, including bear, buffalo, elk, pheasant, halibut and more.

The dinner would not have been so successful if not for the generous silent auction contributors. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each one: 285 Rent-A-Tool; Aspen Catering, Conifer; Aspen Creek Cellars; Aspen Park Hardware/Ace Hardware; Aspen Peak Cellars, Conifer; Bailey Depot Feed Store; Bailey Discount Liquor; Bailey Self Service; Beauty Choices, Shirley Castro; Buck-A-Rue Barn Feed Store; Classic Images (sterling silver jewelry); Copy Copy, Aspen Park; Costco; Cutthroat Cafe; Dick Richardson (artist); Donna Taube (artist); El Rio Restaurant; Hog Heaven Barbecue; Hutchison Lumber; Joni Carr Studio; King Soopers, Conifer; Knotty Pine; Kroenke Sports Enterprises; Mardel's Christian Education; Marge E. Hudak Pool; Ong (beautician); Over the Top Hair Care & Nail Shop; Pampered Chef; Diane Sloniger; Perkins Restaurant; Pine Country Feed; Roger Maves (artist); Safeway; Sam's Club; Scissors Co.; Bonnie Ross; Staples; and Walmart.

We would also like to include a hearty thank-you to our guest speaker, Dawson Swanson, from the Colorado Department of Wildlife.

If you missed this year's dinner ... join us next year as Shepherd of the Rockies hosts our Wild Game Dinner Fall, 2010.
